I’d like to say that I blame the pandemic for the amount of content I consume, but for as long as I can remember I watch/read whatever I can get my hands on. In part I want to keep up with general conversation, but also partly I want to be able to give recommendations where I can. That, and I was finding it hard to remember what I actually watched when asked and started keeping a list. Thus, my tracking & rating system was born.

The general rules are simple. Something gets added to the list if it’s brand new to me - so no rewatches, otherwise this would actually be much, much longer. For Movies/TV if I don’t finish them and/or really hate it they get one star, and for books I only list what I actually finished. Everything gets scored on a 1-5 star system:
